Third Beach is a beautiful, family friendly East facing beach. Third Beach has less waves and overlooks Third Beach Harbor located near the mouth of the Sakonnet River. There are grills, picnic tables, and a shade structure located near the boat ramp. Port-a-johns are located in the parking lots.

• Parking restrictions during the beach season (Memorial Day to Labor Day): resident seasonal beach passes only
