PLEASE NOTE: 
The Middletown Family Campground is only open to seasonal campers, we are not accepting short term reservations. 

The Town of Middletown’s Second Beach Family Campground is located on Sachuest Point Road opposite the main parking lot of Sachuest (locally known as Second) Beach. The campground is bordered by the Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge and the access road to Third Beach.

The seasonal rate is $7,955, our season runs May 1 through Columbus Day. Water, sewer and electric is included.
If you are interested in signing up for our seasonal waitlist please email campground@middletownri.com with a working phone number and the length (hitch to bumper) of your camper. 

Utilities & Amenities

Utilities included in the rental rate are electricity, sewer, and water hook ups.

Toilets, hot showers, ice locker, Wi-Fi, and coin op washer and dryers on site.

Campground management on site.

Rules

• No tent camping
• No pets allowed
• No smoking

• Close to many Newport, Middletown and Portsmouth restaurants and attractions
• Fire pit on the campground green
• Hiking and bird watching at Norman Bird Sanctuary or Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge

• Surfing at Surfers End location of Second Beach

• Walking access to Second and Third beaches
