Thanks to the tireless generosity of the #MiddletownRI High School PTG and countless donors, graduating seniors had a blast Monday at the Senior Post Prom at the Newport County YMCA. Enjoy the times ahead and continue to make us all proud Class of 2025.
SENIOR PROM SPIRIT
MIDDLETOWN, RI (JUNE 10, 2025) – Middletown High Seniors had a blast at Monday night’s post prom party at the Newport County YMCA.
Thanks to the tireless efforts of the Middletown High School Parent Teacher Group and donors from across the community, seniors were able to enjoy their big night in style.
From basketball and blackjack, prizes, food, swimming, psychic readings and so much more, it was a great evening for all.
“We could never do a fraction of what we’re able to without our PTG group and our community partners,” Principal Donna Sweet said. “They make our Middletown High School experience so much more rewarding for our students and educators and there’s no way to say ‘Thank you’ enough for all they do.”
To help cover the significant cost of MHS PTG activities, the nonprofit holds a number of fundraising events throughout the year. The two biggest are typically the Calendar Raffle and Bingo Night.
The donors for the Post-Prom Party include: Newport County YMCA, Pizza Hollywood, Aquidneck Meat & Provisions, Ben & Jerry’s, China Star II and the Middletown Prevention Coalition.
Donors for Bingo Night were the Vasco da Gama Portuguese/American Charitable Society, Eric Full Photography and State Rep. Alex Finkelman. Thanks to Aquidneck Pizza for its generous donation for Pizza & A Pint Night.
