Ana Luisa Belo is the #MiddletownRI "Student of the Week." A role model to all students, the Aquidneck School second grader is known for her positivity, effort and willingness to help others.

MIDDLETOWN, R.I. (JUNE 9, 2023) – In each of the schools across Middletown, there are students doing excellent, noteworthy things. As part of a feature from the town, a different student will be spotlighted for their efforts to make Middletown a special place to live, work  and play.

Accomplishment(s): “Ana Luisa is a true role model both socially and academically. She is a conscientious worker who always strives to go above and beyond in all areas of the curriculum. She is a kind friend who is there to lend a helping hand to her peers. She is a joy to have in class,” second grade teacher Melissa Bolton said.

Dream Job: “I would want to be a baker because people who don't have a lot and live outside need food. I would give it to them for free.”

Best Local Hangout: “The best place is the beach because you can go into the water and play in the sand.”

Best Subject In School: “My favorite subject in school is math because when I do math I feel like I am getting smarter and my brain is growing.”
